Gmail has begun rolling out its AI Inbox feature in beta to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US. The new interface organises emails into action-focused tasks and summarised updates, aiming to make inbox navigation more efficient. It was first tested in January and is powered by Gemini 3, with built-in privacy controls. The feature is part of Google’s wider effort to expand AI tools in Gmail, alongside existing capabilities such as writing assistance and automated summaries.
