UIDAI has launched a new Aadhaar app for Android and iOS to promote a paperless digital identity experience. Unlike the existing mAadhaar app, which focuses on Aadhaar-related services such as downloading e-Aadhaar and generating Virtual IDs, the new app enables users to store up to five Aadhaar profiles, share digital IDs securely, and use face authentication.
