Android allows users to recover their recently deleted photos for a specific period of time. Depending on the brand and the UI, Android handsets usually retain deleted images for 30 days. This allows users to restore the photos they deleted from their Android phone by mistake. When a user deletes an image, it is first moved to their phone's Recently Deleted folder. Similarly, users can also recover images that they recently deleted in Google's Photos app. Users can also choose to permanently delete photos from the Recently Deleted folder.
