Mozilla has introduced an experimental ad-blocking feature for Firefox on iOS that filters advertising content at the network level. The feature uses an EasyList-based filter to block several types of ads, trackers, pop-ups and overlays, while leaving search-result advertising and Firefox-sponsored content untouched. Users can activate or disable the blocker through Settings or the Site menu. Mozilla is releasing the feature through a progressive rollout, so availability remains limited for now. The company has not confirmed when it will reach all Firefox for iOS users.
