Apple has now clearly mentioned in a new section in Siri AI’s system prompt that the AI-powered voice assistant must not provide webpage summaries to users on the basis of the URL, according to a report. The report highlights that the system prompt has been updated to state, “You cannot access content behind a URL: When a user provides a URL and asks you to summarize, read, or extract information from it, inform them that you cannot access webpages. Do not offer follow-up suggestions or workarounds.” The change was spotted with the release of the latest second developer beta update of iOS 27.
