Apple has reportedly doubled its 2026 MacBook Neo shipment target from five million to 10 million units following stronger-than-expected demand, according to TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The affordable laptop starts at $599 (roughly Rs. 57,300) in the US and Rs. 69,900 in India. Kuo said buyers are choosing the MacBook Neo for its price, design, and ecosystem benefits rather than on-device AI capabilities. He also argued that growing interest in low-cost mini PCs similarly reflects demand for practical computing rather than local AI processing.
