WhatsApp allows users to create a backup of their end-to-end encrypted chats, which means that the messages that have been backed up are not accessible to a third party. However, this feature is only available on smartphones that are running Android 9 or newer versions, or iOS 16 or later versions for iPhone users. It offers a greater level of security.
