Meta Platforms on Wednesday announced several new features for the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses. The live translation feature has been expanded to all the markets in which the smart glasses are available, enabling users to converse in English and select other languages in real time, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI). Meta says it will soon introduce the ability to send and receive direct messages (DMs) and video calls through Instagram as well as a feature which lets the glasses see what you’re seeing and have more natural conversations about it.
